GODZILLA Project: This project investigates the effects of interviewing on physiological responses such as heart rate, breathing, and brain activity. My contributions involve data collection and analysis, ensuring accurate and meaningful insights. Internship: As a Bridging Divides Undergraduate Underrepresented Intern, I have been fortunate to participate in this initiative, which aims to provide underrepresented minorities with valuable research opportunities. Over the summer, I worked on: SingWell Project: Examining how group singing influences mood, social connectedness, and physiological measures like heart rate in older adults before and after choir sessions. Immigrant Choir Project: Exploring the impact of group singing on social integration and well-being among immigrant women and children in Canada.

I am engaged in the project titled "The Effect of Music Listening on Cognition: A Pilot Study," which investigates how various acoustic conditions affect cognitive processes in university students and community members.

In addition to my research endeavors, I am a Child Life Volunteer at SickKids Hospital, specifically in the General Pediatrics, Respiratory, and Complex Care units. This role allows me to support children and their families, fostering a compassionate environment that complements my academic pursuits.

Let's Collaborate!

Through my diverse research and volunteer experiences, I am deeply committed to understanding and improving mental health and well-being across various populations. My work reflects a strong dedication to advancing knowledge and promoting inclusivity in research. I am particularly passionate about the fields of addiction, treatment, mood disorders, anxiety, and related psychological conditions. These interests align with my aspiration to become a clinical psychologist, where I aim to contribute to meaningful advancements in mental health care and support for those in need.
